The mountune alloy intercooler upgrade includes everything you need to optimise the performance of your mk3 Focus ST and is the foundation for further power upgrades.
Using a 14-row extruded lightweight tube and fin alloy core with cast alloy end tanks for improved flow characteristics, the mountune alloy intercooler upgrade gives a substantial reduction in air charge temperature (ACT) with minimal pressure drop, ensuring optimum charge air temperature and therefore power.
The mountune alloy intercooler upgrade is essential for sustained high speed or track use, and is not as prone to heat soak as smaller intercooler cores. The performance of the mountune alloy intercooler upgrade has been validated through extreme air temperature and vehicle speed testing. Compared to the original intercooler, the mountune Focus ST alloy intercooler upgrade reduces outlet air temperature by over 39% for the same given intercooler inlet air temperature.

Certainly a huge surface area for improved cooling, but with the shutter grill removed to make space the lower feels somewhat exposed to incoming stones through the facelift bottom grill, time will tell. Performs flawlessly as part of the 275 upgrade.

United KingdomVery fast dispatch from the Mountune team and arrived within a day or two. I have been very happy with the service from Mountune and they have always responded to emails very quickly when looking for updates on stock. My own MR300 build is almost complete just need the hardpipe kit. The intercooler it's self was very well boxed with no possibility of getting damaged in transit. I had made contact to see if there should have been a stencil included but at this moment in time there is not one available. I will look to make my own so I can fly the Mountune flag.
