Carbon Induction Kit [Mk7 Fiesta ST]

The mountune carbon induction kit for Mk7 Fiesta ST includes a beautifully designed high-flow carbon fibre assembly, which, combined with its natural heat-resistant properties and the large dual-entry air filter, provides virtually uncompromised airflow to the 4-cylinder EcoBoost engine.

Cold air is presented to the large dual-entry air filter via the beautifully sculptured carbon fibre air feed, which utilises the original factory cross-car air duct to assist in delivering uninterrupted airflow right up to the filter surface.

In addition to this feed, the kit also includes a porous lower hose which mounts to a lower cold air entry point in the bottom of the heat shield - a design feature originally developed and utilised by mountune on our Ford-endorsed intakes over the last 15+ years.

The mountune carbon assembly is fully rubber-mounted to provide compliance to the native engine movement, preventing unwanted interference or rubbing and includes a high-flow silicone induction hose, together with a comprehensive selection of installation hardware, for hassle-free fitting.

Back-to-back testing against our enclosed induction kit showed peak power gains in excess of 10PS and 10Nm on standard size turbochargers and with the supporting m310 calibration update, has enabled an increase of 25PS and 40Nm over our pre-existing m285 MRX turbo upgrade. Despite these headline grabbing figures, the mountune carbon induction kit is also fully compatible with standard vehicles and in development has been optimised to prevent illumination of the EML.

Engineered to deliver the ultimate performance, sound and aesthetic induction upgrade for owners of Mk7 Fiesta ST models.

Features:

  • Matt carbon fibre air filter assembly
  • mountune high-flow dual entry cone air filter
  • Carbon fibre cold air feed options
  • Porous secondary cold air feed (protects against hydrolocking)
  • High-flow silicone induction hose (specific for this induction kit)
  • Stainless hose clamps
  • Supplied with all required hardware
  • Suitable for vehicles at all stages of tune - recommended for vehicles running in excess of 250PS / 360Nm.

Please note: as carbon fibre uses a man-made manufacturing process, small differences in the finish of parts is normal.

LEVEL-UP

Everything about the carbon induction kit from mountune takes things to the next-level; engineered to maximise airflow where it's needed, to prevent heat-soak and deliver unrivalled power to the 4-cylinder 1.6-litre engine, all whilst undeniably boosting engine bay aesthetics and bolstering the EcoBoost's addictive soundtrack.

As power output increases, the benefits of the carbon induction kit also increase, with peak gains of 10bhp / 10Nm seen on higher output engines - even over our high-flow closed airbox induction kit.

When combined with our supporting m310 calibration, MRX turbocharger and required hardware, the mountune carbon induction kit helps take our previous m285 upgrade up to an even more exhilarating, range-topping headline figure of 310PS and 400Nm

    Excellent Upgrade

Pretty straightforward installation process. Watched a video via YouTube, could be better with contents and build process.. I have a part left over as not sure where it went, a little plate and silver bolt/screw. Not majorly needed as left it off. Sounds great, expensive but worth the upgrade.
