The mountune high-performance mk8 Fiesta ST brake pad range has been developed for owners looking for the ultimate in braking performance whilst retaining their OE braking setup.
The aramid fibre-based pad compound used provides excellent initial bite from cold, which improves further with subsequent use as the heat builds up, offering enhanced performance and resistance to brake fade upto 700ºC.
The compound used also produces minimal dust and maintains an OE-like level of noise, so is perfectly suited to daily use without any compromise.
Features:
Bedding-in:
The following steps should be followed to correctly ‘bed-in’ your new brakes.
Brake pad/ disc replacement will initially reduce your vehicle's braking performance until fully ‘bedded’ in.
Step 1 - Gently drive approximately 250 urban miles (not motorway miles where brakes are used less) to allow the pads to coat the surface and establish full contact with the disc face.
Step 2 - Ensuring it is safe and legal to do so, perform 8 stops from 70mph to 30mph at 300-yard intervals followed by coasting to allow the brakes to cool.
Discs / pads can take up to 1200 miles to fully bed in, during which time it is perfectly normal to experience a degree of smoke, odour or squeal.

Definitely improved stopping power over the original fitment disc pads, another worthwhile Mountune improvement for road use with the standard rotors.
Really happy with these, great upgrade for fast road use. Also get the added bonus that the pads themselves are black and not like others on the market which are coloured!
Pads perform as expected, great bite from cold that improves with heat, no noise and so far they don't seem to throw out much dust. Ideal for fast road and can be used on track if the correct bed in procedure is followed. Fast dispatch and delivery.
